Welcome
to the top

The location
The residential district on Susenbergstrasse is rightly seen as one of the most exclusive in all Zurich. Dotted with houses, the area is home to large gardens containing ancient trees. Here you can leave the hustle of the city behind you, absorb some positive energy and enjoy the spectacular panoramas of the city and lake. Alongside its quiet and cultivated atmosphere, the proximity to the university, ETH, university hospital and Kunsthaus art museum makes the development even more attractive. The closest bus stop is virtually on the doorstep, while those who prefer to walk can reach Toblerplatz in a few minutes.
Just a few steps away from Susenberg Park is the idyllic Zürichberg recreational area with its winding nature paths, woodland pools and incredible views. Sports lovers can enjoy a morning jog right on their front door or go on an extended bike tour. With Zoo Zurich, the Fluntern sports centre, the open-air swimming pool and the Dolder ice rink all nearby, there is plenty to keep you busy all year round. For foodies, the neighbourhood also has lots to offer. Hotels like the Sorell Rigiblick, the Sorell Zürichberg or the nearby Dolder Grand offer several restaurants catering to every taste, from creative bistros to award-winning culinary temples.

Striking
but subtle

The architecture
Blessed by nature, this location will see a development whose architecture will truly do justice to its incredible position, impressing both technically and aesthetically. Susenberg Park will combine natural and architectural qualities, crafted with an eye for detail to bring a spectacular new highlight to the area.
For inspiration, the architects looked to nature and how it is experienced by the residents of the park. This is reflected in the form of the buildings. It is not arbitrary, but instead arises from the relationship between indoor and outdoor by creating interesting perspectives. Another important factor was the need for a certain degree of privacy between the houses as well. That is why the windows are not arranged systematically in a straight line, while the architects have been mindful of the fact that residents will not be able to look into each other’s apartments through the windows.
The attractive facade consists of many layers. Room-high windows alternate with closed wall elements that are fitted with corrugated ceramic plates in varying shades of green. At selected points, fine square bars made of brass are placed in front of the facade. These offer privacy while also creating a playful effect. As the sun moves across the sky, it creates a changing pattern of light and shade across the walls of the outdoor areas and living spaces. This interplay between glass, metal and ceramic provides a unique appearance that gently reflects the trees and bushes of the park.

Everything you could want

The interior
Alongside cleverly designing the spaces and their connections to the surroundings, the choice of materials is decisive in residential construction. For a residential project on the Zürichberg, it is only natural to make no compromises in this regard. Achieving sustainable and aesthetic quality calls for truly premium materials. The surface materials, with which inhabitants are in constant optical and haptic contact, cannot be chosen on the basis of fleeting trends. They must be timeless, looking and feeling good now and in the future. Home furnishings are a matter of taste: there is no point arguing about that. As a result, the features in Susenberg Park are elegantly reserved, taking a back seat to give you all the freedom you need to design and furnish your home as you see fit.
The individual design elements give the apartment the finishing touch and personal flair. Generous budgets are available for kitchens, bathrooms, carpentry, ceramic wall covering and flooring, so that you can perfectly tailor your living space to your needs.

Room to
live well

Each house has space for seven exclusive apartments in various sizes, from compact 2.5-room apartments on the ground floor to the large penthouse. All 28 apartments are designed from the inside out and benefit from the buildings’ ideal southwest orientation. The living spaces are all in the front section, facing the sun and the incredible views. The bedrooms and bathrooms are arranged in the rear and have a stronger connection to the park surroundings. KSA Kyncl Schaller Architekten GmbH’s team of architects emphasised flowing transitions from the living areas to the outdoors. The covered terraces offer both a great view and privacy, making them the perfect place to spend time outside.
